Boy Scout Troop 28 is chartered by College Park United Methodist Church, 644 W. Princeton Street, located at the corner of Edgewater Dr. and Princeton St. The troop meets every Tuesday night in Wesley Fellowship Hall located at the rear of the church.

Pack 252, Boy Scouts of America, is chartered by College Park United Methodist Church but open to all boys of any faith ages 6 to 10. Most boys attend Princeton Elementary or St. Charles Catholic, but there are no restrictions on membership. The pack meets about once a month, usually on the third Friday of the month at 7 p.m. Boys also meet in between by grade level with their 'den leader.' Activities include camping, an annual Pinewood Derby, Scouting for Food, and Family Fest.

The FSYO offers an educational orchestral experience for talented young musicians from grades 3-12. Students must study with a private teacher and audition for a seat in one of three orchestras and a flute choir each spring. Students rehearse on Sunday afternoons and perform at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre during the school year.

Freedom Ride is a non-profit 501-C organization dedicated to the service of the handicapped through therapeutic horseback riding. The concept behind Friendship Force is "A world of friends is a world of peace." On incoming or outgoing exchanges, we home host each other so that we get to understand each other's culture on a more personal level. Girl Scouting offers girls an exciting and fun opportunity to learn skills for a lifetime. Girl Scouts of Citrus Council invites all girls 5-17 to join. Greyhound Ranch Adoptions, Inc. is a pro-greyhound organization set up to give refuge to greyhounds retiring from racing activities by providing shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, and foster-care programs.
