Pack 252, Boy Scouts of America, is chartered by College Park United Methodist Church but open to all boys of any faith ages 6 to 10. Most boys attend Princeton Elementary or St. Charles Catholic, but there are no restrictions on membership. The pack meets about once a month, usually on the third Friday of the month at 7 p.m. Boys also meet in between by grade level with their 'den leader.' Activities include camping, an annual Pinewood Derby, Scouting for Food, and Family Fest.
The FSYO offers an educational orchestral experience for talented young musicians from grades 3-12. Students must study with a private teacher and audition for a seat in one of three orchestras and a flute choir each spring. Students rehearse on Sunday afternoons and perform at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre during the school year.
Freedom Ride is a non-profit 501-C organization dedicated to the service of the handicapped through therapeutic horseback riding.
