Seeking Host Families for Exchange Students from Asia!

Learning and Achievement Foundation is a non-profit exchange student program currently seeking families to host outstanding teens from Asia for the upcoming school year (2007-2008). Families are not compensated financially, however, students do provide all of their own spending money. Host families provide only room, board and cultural exchange. These students are high achieving, motivated individuals seeking a learning experience in the US. Prior to approval, host families will be home-visited by a coordinator and also must pass a background check. If approved, the family will immediately learn more about their exchange student and they may begin corresponding with them right away. The students arrive in the US in August and return home at the end of the school year. Your local coordinator will meet with you and your student monthly and will always be available should any concerns arise. Families with children and teens, especially, are encourage to apply. This cultural exchange is an unforgettable experience for the entire family. Many host families and exchange students maintain contact for years to come.
